How Consent Works
When a caller contacts a business using MissedJob and SMS recovery is available, the caller hears an IVR disclosure. The caller must affirmatively press 1 before MissedJob attempts a recovery SMS. If there is no input, a timeout, a disconnect, or another digit, no recovery SMS is initiated.
Consent applies only to the inquiry and customer-care conversation with the business contacted. It does not apply to unrelated marketing.
